Dave May and I met today to shoot this week’s test vehicle, the 2012 Infiniti QX56. Eager to find a location that suited the vehicle and always up for something new, we decided to photograph the QX in a parking garage.
I took a photo of Dave on the scene (top left) with my phone’s camera, but it couldn’t handle the low light. Then Dave offered me a “real camera.”
So, I’m no Dave May, but it was fun to play around while the professional did the hard work. And while many of the photos were out of focus – Dave doesn’t allow any stinking auto focus, even for me – others provide a bit of a behind-the-scenes look.
The location presented certain challenges, but also opened up new possibilities. I look forward to sharing them in the review of the QX.
