Here’s a first look at the latest Ride of the Week, a 2012 Infiniti IPL G Coupe.
IPL stands for Infiniti Performance Line. Compared with the base G37 Coupe, the IPL gets higher-output engine tuning, a sportier exhaust and suspension, and exclusive wheels and aerodynamics. The IPL Coupe is available with either a six-speed manual or 7-speed automatic transmission.
The test car is finished in “Malbec Black,” a shifting metallic shade that, depending upon ambient light, can be described as bronze, eggplant and plain old black.
