2012 Hyundai Equus Ultimate: First Look

by

Here’s a first look at the latest Ride of the Week, the 2012 Hyundai Equus.

The flagship of Hyundai’s lineup, the Equus is, without a doubt, a premium luxury sedan. For 2012 Equus is now powered by a new, larger-displacement direct-injection V8 coupled with a 8-speed automatic transmission. It’s positively packed with high-tech equipment for comfort and convenience, features like parking assistance, HID and LED lighting, heated and cooled front seats with massage function, dual-zone automatic climate control, navigation, a power rear sunshade and a 17-speaker Lexicon audio system. Equus has a starting price of $58,750, but our test car has the $7,000 Ultimate package that provides executive rear seating with entertainment, power rear side sunshades and even a refrigerator in the rear console.
